It also highlights the diverse base of fishing products that were put on show, and with which the recreational angler is able to arm and suppliment his fishing arsenal with.

A huge Thankyou must be given to all those Interstate Travellers and Personalities who committed their time and profession towards South Australia's Inaugural Av-a GO Expo.

Special thanks must also be given to Av-a GO Expo Volunteers, who truly excelled themselves in helping promote various products and services by helping maintain exhibitions, as well as catering for the needs of the general public. I for one am truly looking forward to that Boat Charter with you all.

A note of appreciation must also be offered to Padthaway Estate, who provided Eliza Champagne and an excellent Cab Sav for those Exhibitors who opted to stay for a few drinks on Saturday night.

An event such as this requires huge amounts of media coverage and exposure. To this end, recognition and appreciation must be and is wholeheartedly given to the valued Sponsors of the Av-a GO Expo, namely, Channel 9, FIVEaa and Denny's The Tackle Shop.

A special mention and thanks must also be given to The Advertiser, in their promotional involvement towards the Av-a GO Expo.

The Av-a GO Expo, in conjunction with generous contributors of QANTAS, Lake Taupo, Hertz and Denny's The Tackle Shop, also provided a fantastic opportunity for the general public to win a great prize, an 8 Day Holiday to Lake Taupo, New Zealand. This holiday was valued at over $9000, and included tickets to New Zealand, eight days of car hire, accomodation and $1000 worth of tackle. ........... read more.

Lastly, this Great Event would not have been possible without the likes of Denny Hodgson, John Winslet, Peter Koehne and Perrie Thomas (The Voice of Av-a GO Expo), who profusely and tirelessly over a period of many weeks, transformed a concept and an idea into a huge event, and who are I believe, still experiencing its eventful aftermath, and trying to return to a life of normality. To all you guys - Well Done, and Thankyou.
