Come and join in South Australia’s new, exciting, feel good Av-a GO Expo, to be held at the Morphettville Racecourse, Friday 8th to Sunday 10th October 2004.
This is an inaugural event, and the timing of this year’s Expo is perfect. The cold wet winter is over, the football is finished, it is just after the long weekend, the tail end of the school holidays, what better way is there to enjoy a family fun occasion !
Unlike many specialist Expos or shows that appeal to either men or women only, the Av-a GO Expo is designed to attract the attention of both men and women and in fact the whole family.

One of SA's favourite local TV Personalities, Michael Angelakis from Channel 9's "Out Of The Blue" will be on hand, to share with you his culinary expertise and witty humour. "Out of the Blue" showcases the State’s seafood industry, primarily filmed along the State’s southern coast. It is best described as a cooking show with a travel twist.
There will be exciting professional displays as well as cooking demonstrations with well known chefs, including Peter Doyle (from Doyle’s Seafood Restaurant Sydney). These demonstrations are gauranteed to gastranomically delight any budding household cook.
Food Tasting is also on the menu, to sample some mouth watering fish cuisine.

There will be demonstrations and presentations in leisure, marine & boating, fishing, sporting, travel and other activities that will appeal to all ages. This also will provide great opportunities for public participation and event interaction. A day of fun for the whole family.

This is to be an interactive entertaining fun Expo, promoting a healthy leisure lifestyle with competitions, seminars and demonstrations by well known personalities conducted throughout the days.
Being the school holidays, there will also be attractions that will involve the children, including learning the Fun way to fish with Fred Bayes "Flathead Fred's Fun Fishing", presenting a seminar, only for the young ones.

Both the young and old can join in some easy going and great physical fun, with handballing competitions and interactive presentations supported by Andrew Crowell and the "Camry Crow" from the Adelaide "Camry" Crows.

The Av-a GO Expo also offers a great opportunity for the public to interact with Manufacturers and Wholesalers of fishing equipment, and peruse their new merchandise on display, exclusive to Av-a GO Expo.
This is a great opportunity to preview such products which are targeted for general public release and sale during the 2004/5 Christmas Season.
It’s also a GREAT way to fulfil that Christmas wish list, or upcoming birthday present.
