Our Fishing Trip - Submitted 27/11/2003 by Joe Millar
On Tuesday the 29th July my dad, Kenny, Paul, Beau and I got up at 4.am and went down to Rainbow Beach and got on a fishing boat.

We boarded the boat at 6.am after we had stowed all our gear on.

We went out past Fraser Island and Double Island Point and travelled for an hour and a half and then put down our anchor.

It was a beautiful sunny day that was perfect for fishing.

I was excited to see a flying fish, as I didn't really think they existed.

There was also leaping dolphins and one whale.

We caught heaps of brim, parrot fish, squire, rock cod, tiger shark, catfish, trout and lots of other fish.

Our friend Beau got seasick.

It was a great day.
