Elliston - Submitted 21/02/2001 by Troy Taylor
The people we have staying here at Elliston Caravan Park are doing very well with the garfish in Anxious Bay to the left of the boat ramp.

Up into the corner they are wading out to about knee deep and casting out from there using gents for bait.

This is working well in the mornings.

Those going to the right of the boat ramp are casting

in off the beach with cockles and are catching 8 to 10 35cm plus whiting a session.

Good sized Tommies are being caught early in the morning or from dusk on with gents and using just enough berley to tease them.

Locks Well has been a bit patchy over the last few days with some coming home with good catches.

Others missing out.

There seems to be a few Salmon 4kg+ out there at the moment but a large number of small ones amongst them.

Everybody is getting good feeds some are getting a stockpile in the freezer.
