Chinook with a Barracuda

Taken during our fishing stint in the Norther Territory, April 1999. Barracudas are an amazing fish. They streak out of the reef to ambush your lure, and once hooked, fight as if their lives depended on it (they usually do !) They have extremely sharp teeth, and can make a mess of your lure.

The fish that Chinook caught was of average size for the area, and the Barracudas that were caught were either released, or used as strip bait.
