Approximately 6 kms offshore and in a depth of about 18 metres, this area has a defined ledge which attracts snapper in the late afternoon. November is probably the best month to fish for snapper generally, but they can be caught in this area all year round. A few good sized whiting and red mullet can be taken here as well. Often when snapper cannot be located on other regular grounds, they can be found here in good numbers, and on several consecutive days at a time.

Garfish and Tommy Ruff often gather in big numbers on this ground as well.
