| Morgan's Beach
Should the seas of Backstair's Passage be rough or the tidal rush too severe, Morgan's beach is an ideal alternative to fish. This beach is more often than not a sheltered bay, and can produce salmon, snook and tommy ruff. Good sized whiting can be found in the sand patches, and closure to shore, sweep can be taken.
Snook runs occur around the point towards Morgan's Beach, and if stationary fishing, throw out a squid line, as squid are prolific in this area.
It's a 10 minute run from the Cape Jervis ramp into Morgan's Beach. |
