Have you ever wondered where some of the hot spots are in and around Adelaide, Yorke and Eyre Peninsula. You've come to the right place ! I'll try and show you some of the places that are renown for their catches of fish.

Most of these spots I have fished and had great successes, as well as dismal failures. Other sites have been passed on to me by fellow fisherman who like to share a story and a successful spot.

When fishing out on the water, one of the hardest things to do is to remember exactly where that good spot was where you caught all those fish. There are 2 ways available that can help you identify that great fishing ground. The first is simple. From your anchored location, identify one to three lines of sight and 2 landmarks per line, to obtain a reasonable fix of your location for posterity.

The second method, and more accurate is by GPS, Global Satellite Positioning System. There are now hand held GPS's which can automatically store to memory, the exact latitude and longitude in degrees and minutes, of your favorite fishing spot.
