Subject: Hi this is my Coral Trout.

Hi to all at FishSA,

This is a picture of a 16.5lb Coral Trout I caught last Sunday morning fishing about 8 miles out from Point Cartwright (Caloundra/Queensland/Australia).

It was caught about ½ an hour after sunrise in 30 mtrs of water. I was using Mullet flesh as bait connected to a 30lb handline. Was an interesting fight (10-15mins), I had to cut about 5 foot of line off the end when I got him in as he did run me around something down there.
