  • Launching from firm sand, beach parking.
  • Birkenhead

  • North of Tavern
  • Dirt Carpark
  • Excellant ramp but slightly steep
  • Sizable ramp drop off at extreme low tide, but gets you right into the action areas though.
  • Watch for barnacles on lower birkenhead ramp if you lauch barefoot, between pavers.
  • Also watch boat doesn't sit between pavers as if the wind swings the boat around may cause damage.
  • Great ramp for when the mulloway are around, near the good spots.

  • Parking OK but on compact dirt.
  • Launching is best when water is higher as in photo, not 2 hours either way of low as a bit shallow
