Subject: Fisheries launch

On Monday 4 August 2003, the Commonwealth Minister for Fisheries, Forestry and Conservation launched "The National Recreational and Indigenous Fishing Survey", a survey of recreational and indigenous fishing in Australia from 2001-2002.

This survey is the first of its kind for the fishing sector and information gathered will be invaluable for measuring future trends and developments.
